Wait! What? New animation background designs? Does that mean a new Flipt Pictures original short animation is on the way?

Indeed it does!

In my off time, between regular work and volunteer work I’ve also been working away on a new short 2d animation and have just finished up the background design phase. Below are a couple of them that you can take a gander at.

Next, it’s on to the animation phase! YaY!

In other Flipt Pictures original animation news … yes, there is even more! Independent Filmmaker Lyn Elliot was awarded a Rocket Grant to create a collaborative film project titled Lessons from Exes. Lyn will be recording interviews about practical lessons women have learned from past romantic partners (like how to separate an egg). Five women filmmakers, including myself, will each create imagery to go along with one of the interviews. I’m very excited and honored to be a part of this project.
