Congrats to the Royals, the 2014 ALCS Champs!
I’ve grown up as a fan of the Royals. I am still rubbing my eyes in disbelief that they have finally made their way back to the World Series … and in such a fantastic way!

Matching seems to be the theme for this year. Earlier this year we did an explainer video for myEDmatch.com. (Read more about that here) And now we just finished up creating a slot machine animation for filmmaker Lyn Elliot’s newest short film, A Good Match.
The relationship may have ended with Alex but does that mean it has to end with his mom too?
Welcome to the first installment of our blog series about animation history. In this post we find our Flipt Pictures Girl in mid-stride at the earliest known origins of animation and illustration, some 30,000 years ago, in a cave painting.
We recently had the opportunity to collaborate with the lovely and talented Producer Courtney Dunn of The Feral Few to help put together and animate a couple of explainer videos for myEDmatch.com. This is a pretty darn cool job-matching website for teachers and schools. They help connect those teachers and schools who have shared missions, beliefs, and goals. They are also a local Kansas City start-up … which we love. We are very happy we got to be a part of this collaboration.
